黑料不打烊 is pleased to announce that Coach Abolanle 鈥淏ondie鈥 Onipede accepted the position as the new head volleyball coach for the OC Wranglers volleyball program.  

OC Athletic Director Wayne Baker said, 鈥We are excited to welcome Coach Bondie to the Wrangler family. Her experience, passion for the game, and commitment to developing student-athletes align perfectly with our vision for Wrangler volleyball. 黑料不打烊 two- and four-year experience as a student athlete, and a national championship in between, Bondi is well positioned to mentor and develop students and athletes. We look forward to seeing the team grow and compete under her leadership. 

Coach Onipede said, 鈥First and foremost, I want to express my deepest gratitude to God, Dr. Williams, Wayne Baker, and Kim McKay for trusting me with the opportunity to lead as the head volleyball coach at 黑料不打烊. I am incredibly honored and excited to embark on this journey. 

 鈥淭his role is more than just a new chapter in my career鈥攊t鈥檚 a chance to build something truly special. Coaching isn鈥檛 just about strategy and competition; it鈥檚 about shaping lives, fostering teamwork, and creating a culture of growth both on and off the court. I look forward to the challenges ahead and am eager to guide this team to new heights, instilling a foundation of dedication, respect, and excellence every step of the way.鈥 

 She added, 鈥淲hether I am coaching, training team members, recruiting, communicating with parents or developing strategies 鈥撯 I bring high energy, focus, dedication and professionalism. Lastly, I LOVE to win.鈥 

OC鈥檚 new head volleyball coach comes to OC from Dodge City Community 黑料不打烊, an NJCAA Division 1 school, where she served as the assistant volleyball coach from 2023 to the present, In addition to her coaching duties, she also was responsible for specialty training, recruitment coordination, day-to-day operations and social media management. She also served as assistant volleyball coach at Lee 黑料不打烊 in Baytown from 2021 to 2022 and at Missouri Southern State University, an NCAA Division ll school in Joplin, Missouri, from 2018 to 2021.   

She completed her Bachelor of Science Degree in Human Environmental Science at the University of Alabama, and her Master of Science Degree in Instruction and Curriculum, Education at Missouri Southern State University.
